Jean Morgan Weinbrecht
Jean Morgan Weinbrecht, 89, of Savannah passed away July 16, 2010 at Hospice House of Savannah.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, John Weinbrecht.
Born May 6, 1921 in McCullough, Alabama, she lived the majority of her life in Savannah. She was retired from a 37 year career with the National Weather Service at Travis Field as a weather forecaster. After retirement, she traveled extensively all over the world. She also became an avid bridge player. She was a member of Wesley Monumental United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Bill Weinbrecht, of Atlanta, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Gerald Sharpe of Ball Ground, GA; grandchildren, Lindsey and Ryan Sharpe of Ball Ground, GA; and Morgan Weinbrecht of Atlanta, GA. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Gunther Klein of Houston, TX; sister-in-law, Bettye Morgan of Opp, AL and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in the Hodgson Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with Reverend R. Alexander Tracy officiating. The body will be cremated.
